Riolo further revealed that while the food delivery company used to pay €15 to €16m per year, the new deal with McDonald's will see Ligue 1 earn around €20m (£17m) per season for the next three years.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID

It’s an offer from McDonald’s. They haven’t yet planned the comms for the junk food and everything, they’re working on it… It’ll be around €60 million over three years, it’s a clear increase."
