After joining the MLS side this offseason from RB Leipzig, Forsberg has already started to show his return on the contract the Red Bulls offered him! The stunning effort against the Chicago Fire, which ended in a 2-2 draw, has since gone viral on social media.

The strike was a familiar one, with an immediate comparison to David Beckham's famous wondergoal vs Wimbledon in 1996/97 for Manchester United. The now-Inter Miami co-owner, Beckham's effort is one for the history books. In terms of MLS preseason goals, though, Forsberg's might go down as one of the best ever.

MLS preseason is currently underway, and the Red Bulls and their new Swedish talisman will continue training and preparing for the new season until it ends. At that point, though, their first MLS match of the season comes February 25 against Nashville SC.
